Default 'Identical upper- and lowercase' checkbox

For some reason the Search dialog box suddenly has its 'Identical upper- and
lowercase' checkbox checked by default. I'm not sure what I did to make this
happen, but I want this checkbox unchecked by default. I've checked the
Extra-Options-tabs but wasn't able to find something there. Can someone
point me in the right direction?
Thank you.
John
