A legal Office 2007 Enterprise rejects license key
I have a new laptop and a legal version of MS Office 2007 Enterprise with a valid license key which worked previously on my other computer (which uses the same Internet connection.) However, the license key does not work on the new laptop and I'm out of ideas. Would a change of IP address help the matter or is there a different way to solve this? I know this same license key worked for other people before. -- adzix ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adzix's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/113908.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/office-setup/1212893.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

Obviously the key will not work. One or more installation with Enterprise
depending on the level at where you purchased it legally. Have your Home Use Program ID and your VL key handy when you call as per the below link. Here you will find the Phone numbers and email addresses as to where and whom to contact about Office Enterprise and your issue. A legal Office 2007 Enterprise rejects license key
hey, thanks for the reply. see, this is not a version i purchased but one that is sponsored by a US university i attended. all students are given a free Office Entrerprise and they usually install it on their home computers and laptops. maybe the problem lies in the fact that i'm now in europe? -- adzix ------------------------------------------------------------------------ adzix's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/113908.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/office-setup/1212893.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

What you have and what you think you have are not the same thing. Acceptance of the license key happens very early in the installation, long before the package knows it isn't on the right continent. |

If FPP this is a retail version. Retail version can be installed on up to three computers within the same household concurrently. OEM and MLK versions can only be installed onto the original computer they were installed onto and can't be installed onto another computer ever. If it is a retail version, you need to be really careful about the letters and numbers of the key. B & 8, 5 & S and O and 0 look similar. Use a magnifying glass to read it. Let us know what version and if you have other issues. |
