Default Shared PC - Multiple Users - Password Prompt

Users on shared PCs are able to open other users' profiles without a password
(even when set up to ask for credentials). They cannot send or receive mail,
but can read the locally cached copy of the Inbox / Sent etc.

Why are they all using the same windows profile? They should each have their
own Windows logon. If this is not possible, you need to disable cached mode.
