Default Outlook 2003 Importing "Inbox" Error

I exported my inbox, contacts and calendar (individually [CSV]) to a back up
folder on my laptop in order to import them to my notebook. When I imported
the files, I had no problem with my contacts or calendar, but when I
attempted to import my "inbox", I received the following message:

A file error has occurred in the Common Separated Value (Windows) translator
while initializing a translator to build a field map. Outlook was unable to
retrieve the date from the file "C:\Backup\Inbox.CSV". Verify that you have
the correct file, that you have permission to open it, and that it is not
open in another program.

I am signed on as the system administrator, and it is the correct file and
not open in another program. Is there anyone who can assist me with this?

Unfortunately a password was put on the Outlook .pst files/folders and I no
longer have access to it and am unable to back up my outlook as .pst and thus
the reasons for doing everything individually under .csv.

Plenty of free pst password utilities available - do a Google.
