Hi =?Utf-8?B?U3RldmVBZGFtczU1?=,

A family member is asking bout this. She must have some kind of Track
Changes on, but I can't seem to reproduce the problem.

Which version of Word?

Where is this showing up? In the text (before the new line you get when
Enter is pressed)? Somewhere else?

Is Enter also generating the new line?

Is this happening every time Enter is pressed, or only under certain
circumstances (like after typing a particular combination of letters)?
The first thing that comes to my mind is AutoCorrect...

I've forwarded your questions back to my step-mother and asked her to include
a sample document that shows the problem. Also, the email I received
notifying me of your reply had a bad link in it. I had to search the boards
to find this thread. I assume that comes from some automated admin function.
Any idea who I should report that to? This is the first time I've been in
this community newsgroup. Thanks for your help.

FWIW, you're far from the first to report that the link doesn't work. I
suspect it fails more often than it succeeds. I'm not sure whom you could
report it to, as it's just one of many problems the Web interface suffers
from, and no one seems to be much interested in fixing them.

Thanks. Of course, the link to your response worked beautifully. Go figure.

It does seem to be kind of random. Or perhaps the likelihood of the link
working is inversely proportional to the urgency of your need for the
answer.
