Default saving pictures in an email

In Office 2003, you could right-click on an email's picture and 'save as' in
the original format (.jpg, .tif, .bmp, etc.) and put it anywhere. In Office
2007, the only option you get is a 'copy' - and it will not allow you to save
it in anything other than a 'scrap'. Is there a way to save a picture in its
original format, as you would in 2003?

Outlook 2003 didn't allow this either. The format would always be set to
bmp.
You can extract the pictures in their original format in the following way;
