Default Word 200t Trial

I was using Word 2007 to complete an assignment. In the middle of the
assignment the the application froze and an error message appeared and said
that I need to restart the programme. Because my work was not saved when I
restarted the app, autorecovery didnt save the document. Is there any way of
retrieving these files?

If it was never saved, there's nothing to retrieve.
