Office XP installed over trial ver 2003
A client installed their Office XP Pro on a new system
which had Office 2003 Trial version already installed on it. Now the system fails to boot into any mode. They have inventory data that had just been entered, but had not yet created backups. Would the previous version install have created this boot failure? It also seems that they have been cursed. They can not find their system restore CD to try a repair. I'm thinking a XP Pro upgrade to restore funtion then pull the data file then do a fresh reinstall. Have downloaded the drivers from COMPAQ already. Any ideas? Thanks |

Do you receive any error messages when the OS will not boot?

then it goes to black screen. -----Original Message----- Do you receive any error messages when the OS will not boot? "Paul Scalzo" wrote in message ...
