Default Cant install Outlook 2007

Let me rephrase: here is the complete list of microsoft-related products
listed in my install menu:

Microsoft NET Framework 1.1

Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 Hotfix (KB886903)

Microsoft NET Framework 2.0

Microsoft Compression Client Pack 1.0 for Windows XP

Microsoft Education Pack for Windows XP Tablet PC Edition

Microsoft Energy Blue Theme Pack

Microsoft Experience Pack for Tablet PC

'Microsoft Ink Crossword

Microsoft Ink Desktop

Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 Trial

Microsoft Office Standard 2007 Trial

Microsoft Save as PDF or XPs Add-in For 2007 Microsoft office programs

Microsoft Snipping Tool 2.0

Microsoft SQL server 2005

Microsoft SQL server Native Client

Microsoft SQL server Setup support Files (English)

Microsoft SQL serve VSS writer

Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0

Now, I also have one more Outlook-related program and it's called Aladdins
Labels (which allows me to print labels etc. right from Outlook).

Any ideas if any of the above could be a contributing factor? Because I have
no idea at this point. Maybe the fact that I have installed the OneNote
trial and also the Office Standard trial which contains OneNote?

If I decide to just uninstall the whole thing and reinstall it, will I be
able to do that? Or is there some sort of limit on how many times you can
install a trial, even if it's within the 60-day period?

"as far as I know" probably isn't good enough. You need to get into
Add/Remove Programs and make absolutely certain that no versions of Outlook
remain on your system. Then follow the steps in the article to get the to
portion of the setup that allows you to customize the installation and
choose which individual components will install.

Hi Sue! I'm having the same issues, only when I try the fix at the
website,
I can't install Outlook because it's simply x'd out. I have removed all
2003
as far as I know... The only thing I can think of is that there are some
registry entries somewhere that are telling 2007 that 2003 is still
around?

Any ideas? This is now holding up my work as my boss needs me to work on
her
contacts database for her so any solution would be appreciated...

Thanks!

You must remove Outlook 2003 first. See

Thanks for the extra detail. OneNote should have no effect. Is it the copy of Office 2007 Standard Trial that you're trying to configure? I have seen one case where Outlook 2007 remained unavailable, even after OUtlook 2003 was uninstalled. I don't think there is a limit to the trial installations, so you might remove everything, then try reinstalling the trial, but this time, choose the option to customize, so that you can explicitly choose to install Outlook.
