Default Emailing anything from Office 2007

Hi I am running Office student Edition 2007 on windows XP SP2, outlook
express (6).
When I create a file in any of the office programmes (Power point , word
etc) I can not Email the file directly from the programme I have to save it
first, open outlook create my message and then attach the saved file.
When I create the file in say, Word, go to the office button, and go to
send, the Email option is greyed out.
It's just a pain to not be able to send straight from Office 2007, any
thoughts??

Office requires a MAPI client to send from its applications.

I need help.

I use to be able to send a document as a message from all office
applications (word, excel, publisher, etc).

Now the only option I can choose from and available is the "send as an
attachment" option. I don't know what happened but I can no longer see these
options: send as message; email preview, etc.

Thank you

I have the same problem as "C", I use to email from Excel using Outlook, now
that I have upgraded, it will only send as an attachment and not as part of
the email body.

Don't quite know why you would want to send a file as part of the message
body and not as an attachment, but do it the other way. Open a new email
message and do insert-object.
