finding centre of a line
If I draw a horizontal line, then two verticles and use the trim to create a
new smaller line, is there a command that will show me the centre of this new modified line - I have checked on help and all the icons, but can't find a centre button - is there anything ? |

Not as such, but with the shape selected menu Window - Show Shapesheet In the Controls section (if it's not there then Add section) add a row called centre and set the X and Y to Width*0.5 and Height*0.5 You will have a yellow blob at the shape's centre. But, the blob can be grabbed with the mouse and dragged awat from the centre point. So, put "Guard( ... )" around the folmulae. Also set the X and Y Behaviour to 1 (=Locked) -- Regards, Paul Herber, Sandrila Ltd. Electrical for Visio http://www.electrical.sandrila.co.uk/ |
