Default populating shapes

It would seem logical to me to be able to double-click and shape and have it
go on to the sheet rather than the more tedious process of having to drag
every shape onto the drawing page.

Also, when a shape is moved, the connectors should be automatically moved to
the closest connector. So when a shape is moved from the left to the right
of another shape it seems like visio should recognize and reroute the
connectors appropriately.

Whereabouts on the page should the shape go?
