Default Unable to locate pop3.log smtp.log in

Hello,
After setting up the right flags on the maintenance option menu, I am unable
to locate the pop3.log, or smtp.log file. These appear not to have been
created. Rebooted did not fix the issue.
I am on XP home and Outlook Express 6. Performed search via the window
search tool.

Thanks. Jean

Tools | Options | Maintenance tab then press the Store Folders button. Note
the location of the files there. That is where you will find the log files.

They quite possibly could also be hidden.
Open Windows Explorer
Tools | Folder Options
Select "Show all files....."
Uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types"./
Press APPLY then OK

You have to select additional options in search for Hidden Files and
Folders.
