Default Unable to log on to my Hotmail account using Outlook Express 6

Hi,

I have been having a persistent issue with my Hotmail account, which has
been lasting for over two months.

I have been unable to log on to my Hotmail account using Outlook Express 6,
despite having done so with ease for over 5 years.

I get the following error: " Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP
server. Account: 'Hotmail', Server:
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail,
Server Response: 'Invalid login.', Port: 0, Secure*SSL*: No, Error Number:
0x800CCC32 "

I am quite certain that my login is correct.

I understand that new Hotmail clients needs a premium account to access
their email via Outlook Express, but that it remains free for long-standing
clients such as myself.

I would be grateful if you could confirm this and/or suggest how the problem
might be solved.

I have contacted microsoft support, but the email support is poor and always
ends up with a suggestion I call the phone support, who then refuse to speak
to me as I have a free account and tell me to contact email support!
