Default Bar Charts

I'm trying to create a bar chart where you have 2 bars for each project (I'm
trying to do this for 5 projects). 1 bar is Year 1 and 2nd bar is year 2.
The catch is I'd like each bar to be a stacked bar where each color on that
bar represents a segment of the total bar.

There is no template anywhere on this. If someone from Microsoft sees this
question, this would be a nice enhancement to next powerpoint version.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Have you tried making the chart in Excel and copying and pasting into
PowerPoint?

Thanks for the response. Excel gives you the same ppt template options. I
haven't figured out a way to a set of 2 stacked bars next to each other for
one project and then another set for 2nd project, etc. Any additional ideas
would be greatly appreciateed.
