Device Not Found error

Default Device Not Found error

I have .dot Word file in a server.
When they access it by \\servername\filename.dot
there is an error message "Device Not Found" But When I click Ok its just
gone...

I want to remove that error message in the opening of a file? How to do it?
Thanks.
