Default make previous label text disappear upon click and type

I want to be able to click on a label in the form design view, and when
i press a character key on the keyboard, the previous label text will
disappear and be replaced by what I type. Or at least a quick keyboard
command that will clear what is there. It is very time-consuming to
have to select the text. Any ideas?

You are pretty much going to have to learn to live with it. Since you are in
design mode, you have no control over that except some options and defaults
you can set, but I don't know of any that will accomplish what you are after.

No worries - simply slect the lable then then double click the text to select
it.

Just a point - if there are spaces in the text you will only select the word
that you have double clicked as you can't select a space.

Another method is to select the label then simply drag your mouse over the
text. But double clicking is quicker

Hope this helps
