Default Phantom text animations

I have created a template that contains no animation in either master
or content slides. I send out the template to speakers and they create
their presentation on it an return it to me via email. I have had
several speakers insist that when they sent their slides to me there
were no text builds but when they come to check their presentations
with me at the conference text builds have somehow been applied. Can
this be the case?
Any guidance would be most appreciated.
J.

Default Phantom text animations

Did they copy and paste the text from another presentation where the text is
animated?

I understand where you are coming from but, no they all say that it
didn't animate in the original. Could this be something to do with
pasting slides from an older version of PPT into PPT2003?

Is the "how did this happen" more important to you or just fixing it.

I'd make sure no animations were present on the Master slides and reapply
