Default IE7 and Hotmail

I have been using OE6 for Hotmail access. I had been reading synchronizing
new messages in my Hotmail Inbox for offline reading. Ever since IE7 was
loaded by Windows update I am unable to synchronize my INBOX. I now have to
go to each and every email I want to read offline and open it up so I can
then read it offline. I am unable to force synchronization manually and get
no error messages.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is this the right place to
discuss this issue. I would be tempted to call microsoft to resolve this
issue but am currently traveling in Ecuador for an extended period. Is there
a non 800 toll free number to call for Microsoft support?

Have you tried uninstalling IE7 by going to Control Panel/Add Remove
Programs and removing Windows Internet Explorer?

Authentication fails when you use Outlook or Outlook Express to try to log
on to a HTTP-based mail server if you use Internet Explorer version 7.0:

Add/Remove Programs and remove IE7. This will revert it back to IE6 without
doing anything else.

I have installed the patch and the problem persists. Next I'll remove IE7.
But first I assume I have to remove the windows live toolbar. I have lots of
info stored in the form fill (sign-ons, addresses, credit card info) area
which I am not carrying while traqveling in Ecuador. Anybody know if that
info when i remove Windows live toolbar.

Before proceeding, disable Windows Live Toolbar's indexing and see if the
problem persists.
