Another reference question

I have a combo box (cbLaborRate) in a subform (sfmDailyLabor) of a form
(frmLaborEntry). The combo box record source needs to refer to a combo box
control located on the main form (frmLaborEntry) called "cbAlias".

I've tried every possible reference combination to refer back to it, but
can't seem to get it. Can you help?

Also, I found a table of reference syntax somewhere and can't find it again.
It has yet to fail me (except today, when I'm working from home...) Any idea
where that table is?
