Default How To make Dropdown selection activate a specific check box

I want to be able to select a name from a dropdown list and, depending on the
name, automatically mark a specific check box. Ex- If I select Bob Smith
from the dropdown, the AAA check box is marked. Or if Jane Doe is selected
the BBB check box is marked. Any Ideas on how to write the code?

A very strange thing to do, but in the After Update event of the combo
(dropdown list):

If Me.MyCombo = "Bob Smith" Then
Me.AAA = True
Else
Me.AAA = False
End If

If Me.MyCombo = "Jane" Then
Me.BBB = True
Else
Me.BBB = False
End If
