Default Trial Download (Not a valid Win32 Application)

This message was placed back in June with no answer.

I received the same error. I have WinXP Pro and attempted to install the
Eval copy to see if it was a product that I could use easily for project
storyboarding. However, after spending over an hour downloading, I got the
above error. Any work arounds?

I'm sorry but I don't have an answer about the trial download.

However, I did want to provide more information about Visio for
storyboarding. This is something we use Visio for internally, and I wonder
if you are trying to do similar things. Our storyboards are multiple page
documents illustrating the steps through a process, one by one. On each
page we put together a collection of shapes and pictures to show what the
step looks like. Then we run Visio in full screen mode to present the
storyboard.

There are a number of helpful features in Visio to facilitate storyboards:
- full screen mode for presentation
- background pages to serve as master slides
- layers that can be turned on and off

There are also a few drawbacks, notably the difficulty getting the same
shape to line up in the same place on multiple pages.
