Dear all,
I would like to make the header different e.g. Page 1- 10 has the header "apple" Page 11- 20 has the header "banana" how can i do this within a .doc file?? Thx anyway! Patrick |

Patrick,
Put your text in two sections, section one from page 1-10, section two from page 11-20. Put your cursor at the top of page 11 and choose Insert - Break - section break next page. Now you have two sections. Put your cursor in section two, go to View header and footer, click on the same as previous button to disconnect from the header on section one, type banana or whatever your header is. Now click on the show previous button on your header and footer toolbar, this brings you in section one, type apple or whatever the text of your header is. Luc "Patrick" schreef in bericht ... Alternatively, if "apple" and "banana" represent text that appears on pages
1 and 11 (such as a heading), you can use a StyleRef field to pick it up. The use of the StyleRef field is well documented in Word's Help. -- Suzanne S.
