Default How do you activate Office 2003 by phone?

I am having a problem trying to activate my copy of Office 2003 by phone. I
had it previously installed on my computer (my other computer has Office 2000
installed) and because I upgraded my motherboard and had other problems with
my computer (my hard drive went out on me, had to send it back to Western
Digital), I had to wipe my hard drive clean and reinstalled my OS and other
programs - including my copy of Windows Office 2003, several times. What
happened was I wanted to get rid of a program called Office Ready. It
integrated itself with my Windows Office program and it was not showing up in
the add or remove section in control panel (and no uninstall file or
program). Since it was attached to my Office 2003 program I thought I could
remove it by uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2003. I was wrong. I
finally went into the registry and removed all traces of the program and then
removed the program in the program section of my OS. So now I can't
reactivate my copy of Windows Office 2003. When I attempt to activate the
program using the internet, a dialogue box pops up and says that I have
reached the maxium number of times I can activate this program. Then it
proceeds to give me an option to activate the program by phone. When I
select this option (after using the back button to get to the page where I
can make this selection) the dialogue box disappears and I'm not provided
with a phone number to call. I finally called the support number and spoke
to an indian fellow by the name of Samuel. He directed my call to an
automated wizard which was unable to solve my problem.

Since this is very frustrating I have given up on trying to activate my copy
of Windows Office 2003. But just to settle my need to know, given my
situation, does anybody out there know a successful procedure to activate
this program by phone(including the correct phone number to call)? If not, I
can live without this program. I have since migrated to Sun's StarOffice 7.
It's a good program. Although I believe Windows Office 2003 is a superior
program, I can get by with StarOffice 7.
