I can convert your files, you will lose formatting. Have you tried Open, Files
of Type, Recover text from any file? If you want, send the files to me or put them on a web site where I can download them. mary-sauer at columbus.rr.com -- Mary Sauer http://msauer.mvps.org/ "zhaul" wrote in message news Please help me, I have several books and manual I wrote in publisher 95, I can't seem to be able to open them with publisher 2003/7 I have windows vista. and another old comp with xp pro. I found a way to retrive the text, but some of the files will need spelling
editing. it's ok. it's a pity that microsoft didn't realized that some of us could have valuable info. in older files. I never thought I would need to update the files due to compatibility. Thanks for your offering, I think I can do what you can. But the design will be lost. and I will have to create the graphics all over again. many of my manuals had visual data, like pictures, graphs, etc. "Mary Sauer" wrote: I can convert your files, you will lose formatting.
