Copy Quick Access toolbar from one computer to another
We have a new computer for one of our Office 2007 users. Can the Quick
Access Toolbar be copied to the new computer? Thank you. -- MB

Copy Quick Access toolbar from one computer to another
By default, the .qat files are saved in the following location in Windows XP
or Windows Server 2003: C:\Documents and Settings\ username \Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Office By default, the .qat files are saved in the following location in Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008: C:\Users\ username AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office Should be able to copy the files to the user profile on the new machine =========== "MB" wrote: We have a new computer for one of our Office 2007 users. Copy Quick Access toolbar from one computer to another
I found this post on Microsoft's website and it worked like a charm for both Word and Excel. I didn't test any others.
