I have installed BT Broadband, now trying to get going with outlook. all
installed OK but when I try to send an email it says I haven't got a digital certificate. I have run through the help details and installed SelfCerte.exe but still no joy. do you know what else I need to make it work? Thanks |

Digital certificates allow signing of messages so that you can prove the message is from you and also allow the exchange of encrypted messages. BT/Yahoo mail doesn't require digical certificate. Perhave you've inadvertently enabled the option to sign outgoing messages, but we can't tell because you're not preceise enough in your symptom description. You don't even state your Outlook version or give the exact text of the error, so we can only guess what you see. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
