displaying changes
I am needing to display the date and time that text is entered into a
specific cell, and it not change. - is that possible? = example - if and address is entered in A1 -then in A2 I need the date and time that it was entered, without it changing. |

Try this event code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range) If Target.AddressLocal = "$A$1" Then Target.Offset(0, 1).Value = Now() End If End Sub Right-click on the sheet tab of the worksheet where you want this to work. Select "View code" to open the Visual Basic Editor (VBE). In the big blank window, paste the above code. Save the workbook, then close the VBE (File Close) to return to regular Excel.
