Default unbound object frame class

I've been trying several methods to merge a picture to Word. Some have been
somewhat successful, but have probs. The one I prefer uses an unbound object
frame. In the process of merging, PaintShop Pro opens up because, I guess,
'PaintShopPro9.Image' is entered in the Class property of the control; it is
also the registered file type for graphic files in my Windows. Nothing
appears to happen and, then, the word doc appears with the picture showing.
However, when I close the word doc, PaintShop Pro is still open and needs to
be manually closed......not what I'd like my users to have to do. Can I
somehow prevent the PaintShop Pro screens from appearing?
