Outlook, exchange and fax
Outlook 2003 11.8010.8107 SP2 (on an XP Pro machine)
SBS 2003 SP1 I'd like to use the fax in SBS but I can't get it to work. I'd like to use fax on machines that are not directly connected to the SBS machine but I've tried to set it up on a machine connected but I can't get that to work either. I've tried to run the setup on the faxclient from SBS, on the non client machine (connected to exchange with RPC over HTTP) and get the message to set it up from add/remove programs then install the printer but I can't setup the printer. From the test machine connected to the SBS machine I can get it setup but it won't send a fax, it seems to try to send from the client not the SBS machine. I've been told the fax will work from either but I'm beginning to doubt it. Any help? is it even possible? Thanks Brian |

Outlook, exchange and fax
I'd try an SBS group, along with more setup details and more details of what
happens with transmissions. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "BrianT" wrote in message ... Outlook, exchange and fax
Good luck. Never have I seen an SBS Fax setup issue dealt with in this
group. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "BrianT" wrote in message ... SBS group said its an Outlook issue. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ...
