Uninstall 2003 after 2007 Upgrade
I have installed Office 2007 upgrade and notice that I still have 456 MB
worth of Office 2003 files on my system. Can I safely uninstall the 2003 files?

If you truly upgraded Office, it maybe that the versions didnt match and as
such you still have Office 2003 components remaining that werent included in the 2007 upgrade So what version was the 2003 & what version was the 2007? If you are getting 456mb from Add/remove dialogue that size is only a guestimate "Henry W" Henry wrote in message ... Was this prob ever resolved? If so, what did you do? I am having the same

Thanks for your response DL. My 2007 version is (12.0.6311.5000) SP1 MSO
(12.0.6320.5000). I am out of the country for another 4 weeks so I can't check my Office 2003 disks to see what version I had there. I am not aware if I could get this from my laptop now. Thanks. I haven't yet resoved the problem. I've gotten a post from DL which I just found out a bit and sent some more info. I will see if I get a further response. I'll let you know. I solved the problem! Hopefully it will help you also. Check out the Installer Cleanup Utility. Read the instructions, it's quite simple and took me about 10 mins. Thanks Jessica. I take it that this utility got rid of your redundant office
