2003 Install, remove, repair problem
I have Office Professional 2003 installed and was trying to reinstall Outlook
but no matter what action I try to take I get the same error message: The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and tha you can access it. When I insert the installation disk in the drive it opens up a Explorer window. If I try to Run setup.exe it starts to install files then gives me the same error message. I can't uninstall the program either; any ideas? Thanks in advance. |

2003 Install, remove, repair problem
Hi Frank,
Looks like we have missing files for outlook, If you have the disc for office 2003 professional then I would suggest, you uninstall office 2003 and reinstall it completely. I am presuming that outlook is a part Office 2003 Professional. Regards, Sunny "FrankNason" wrote in message ... Try the following
Close Outlook. Find and rename mapi32.dll to .old. Then run Fixmapi.exe. Reopen Outlook. If this does not work, then create a new mail profile.
