Default 2003 Install, remove, repair problem

I have Office Professional 2003 installed and was trying to reinstall Outlook
but no matter what action I try to take I get the same error message: The
installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source
exists and tha you can access it.

When I insert the installation disk in the drive it opens up a Explorer
window. If I try to Run setup.exe it starts to install files then gives me
the same error message.

I can't uninstall the program either; any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Frank,

Looks like we have missing files for outlook, If you have the disc
for office 2003 professional then I would suggest, you uninstall office 2003
and reinstall it completely.

I am presuming that outlook is a part Office 2003 Professional.

Regards,

Sunny

Try the following

Close Outlook. Find and rename mapi32.dll to .old. Then run Fixmapi.exe.
Reopen Outlook. If this does not work, then create a new mail profile.

Post back with result
