Default It is a Mystery to Me...

I have Pub 2003 & Windows XP.
My goal is to create a Folded Card with 4 pages looking all the same. What I thought it would work is: Page Set Up - Properties - Finishing - Pages per Sheet and chosen 4. (If it is not for multiplying the existing page then it is what for???)

I thought that I will get all the 4 pages looking same. The result was one tiny page (4 times smaller then it should be)

I know about the Help Option but not knowing what to type into I could not use it.

Thanks
Vanilla

Publisher is putting four copies of your entire card onto one page.
i.e. one card page and three blank pages, reducing the card to size.
I believe what you want to do is to use a Custom page size set to of your
paper size, and then do that in a 4-up layout.

Ed, I answered this same query some days ago. I suggested using the postcard setup.

You again! This is the *THIRD* time you've asked this - are you completely
incapable of reading replies to your previous posts?! You had several
replies.

I suggest you visit, and inwardly digest, the following sites, before you
ever darken the doors of Usenet again. Please feel free to ask about any big
words you don't understand - I know it's a lot for a 4th grader to
understand.

http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm
http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

You obviously didn't get the message the last time when David told you to
*P*SS OFF!!*

I'm going to be as rude as David, but I am going to ask that you do not post
again until you have learnt how to use Usenet properly - you obviously don't
have the first clue.

As I told you before, reposting something when people have gone to the
trouble of providing solutions the first - and, in your case, second -
time(s), is disrespectful and the height of rudeness.

The sooner you learn this, the better your time on Usenet will be - nobody
likes a whiner which you are turning out to be.

Learn it yourself - or people will teach you the hard way. You're cruising
for a bruising.

This is for your own good - though you're obviously too thick to realise
this.

Yes you did Mary and I read it, if I did not thanked you for it is my mistake. I thank you now.
But what I would like to use folded card option and not post card.
Once when I did not intended it to make the for same pages, I accidentally was able to do it but not anymore.
Furthermore I did not know what happened, why I’ve got the little tiny print therefore this time I tried to phrase it in a way that people could understand it better. And this time Ed answered this part of my question.

Mary I hope you still going to answer my questions. I would miss it as you are one of the nicest people around here.

I am ashamed to admit that we have something in common: I reacted the same way when I saw and read your latest insult towards me.

YOU SAID: *THIRD* time you've asked this - are you completely
incapable of reading replies to your previous posts?! You had several
replies."

Something wrong with your statistic about me, I did not asked third times I did twice and I had my reason for it.

YOU SAID: “I suggest you visit, and inwardly digest, the following sites, before you

My answer is: Anger management as ”Anger is only one letter short of danger.”

We have nothing in common - I am not an inveterate whiner who cannot count.

I apologise - how on earth have you made it to 4th grade if you cannot count
past two?!

There was *NO* reason for reposting. Mary gave you the only answer. Did you
think Publisher was going to miraculously and magically change if you posted
again?! What part of "you cannot do what you wish using card-fold" are you
having problems understanding exactly.

YOU SAID: “I suggest you visit, and inwardly digest, the following

And have you?! No, of course you haven't - why would you when whining is so
much more fun.

You better start praying to St Jude - patron saint of idiots and hopeless
cases - because you're beyond any help anyone here can give you.

And if you come out with one more "clever" saying, I'll send David round to
beat some sense into you! Beleive me, they're not clever, they're tiresome
and show that you're not willing to listen and take anything anyone says on
board.

Your choice. You either learn how to post properly, or everyone will
kill-file you and you'll end up not receiving any help at all. People will
just become fed up (if they haven't already).

I'm still not quite sure what you're trying to accomplish...
Why are you intent on using the Folded Card option? Are you looking to be
able to fold up the final printed page into four quadrants like a folded
card to get four identical pages? Why?
Or are you just looking to get four pages per sheet?
