Default everything about contacts and using them

Hi, I am relatively new to Outlook, never needed it for anything but regular
e-mail.
Got an assignment: there is a roller deck of contacts ( hunderds of them)
that need to be put into Outlook contacts, categorized and then used for
e-mails. So, how would I go about that?

Default everything about contacts and using them

With your fingers and a keyboard? If you have a card scanner that
integrates with outlook you might be able to scan them in but will need to
review them for corrections.

One brand name is "Rolodex". A roller deck is a device that holds business
cards in a cylindar and you can look through them by rotating the cards along
