Default 2003 Installation

How do I install Office Pro 2003 on new computer w/Vista OS? I have cds and
key, but installer is looking for an earlier version on Windows XP or 2000.
Tech says they no longer support 2003 and want $$ for installation
information. Same problem when installing on new desktop last year and they
were able to give me a different product key code. Any suggestions or clues?

Presumably that means you have an upgrade version of Office 2003 and its
looking for a qualifying app, if thats not the case what is the *exact* err
msg?
PS You did first uninstall any trial version of office 2007?
