creating controls
Thanbk you so much responding. I figured out about the tab controls. I
placed a tab control on the page and cut and pasted the fields into place. My only problem now is that I placed all of the fields I want on the first tab but they are appearing on all the tabs. I can't figure how to have them show only on the first tab. I cut and pasted them from the original page and just added the tab control in a space on the grid. When I move the tab control, the fields stay in the same position. If you could help me out again I'd be grateful. "Ken Sheridan" wrote: Why not use a tab control and put the primary fields on page 1 of the tab and the secondary fields on page 2. You can then tab between them at will. If you want it to go to the first page when you move to a record put code to set the tab control's value to zero in the form's Current event procedure, e.g. Me.YourTabControl = 0 Ken Sheridan Stafford, England "Eraspberry" wrote: I have created a simple database for lead entry at my company. I am amazed to be stumped on something that seems so simple. I created a page from a table that has 10 primary fields and 10 additional or secondary fields. I wanted to have the first page only show the primary fields for entry and create a button that opens a second page that contains the additional fields of data. I can't figure how to do it? I created two pages, the first has the primary fields from table A and the second page has the secondary fields from table A. How do I code a command button to open the second page of fields? Help! |
