Default changing a hyperlink

Hi Guy

1st MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR TABLE.

Next create an update query based on the query
Double click the field you want to update.
In the UpDate To row insert some thing like this

(Left([TableName]![FieldName],Len([TableName]![FieldName])-3) & "htm")

This will delete the last 3 digits and replace it with htm - I assume that
all your records need altering and that it is the last 3 digits that want
changing.

Hope this helps

In an Access2003 table I have 3 columns with hyperlinks, how do i change
(via a query) the address they point to?

currently they point to filename.csv but i need them to point to
filename.htm - this should be easy but i cannot see how...

thanks

Guy
