Sumifs function
I've entered the formula, it appears correct, and the correct result is
displayed in the function argument box, however only the formula displays in the cell. What does this mean? |

Sumifs function
What does this mean?
It usually means the cell is formatted as TEXT. Change the cell format to GENERAL. Then hit function key F2 then hit ENTER. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "Alan" wrote in message ... Sumifs function
2 possibilities:
1) Cell is formatted as test. Check cell formatting, changing to something appropriate, then try re-entering formula. (select cell, press F2, and then Enter to confirm) 2) Formula display mode is enabled. Try pressing Ctrl+` -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Alan" wrote: I've entered the formula, it appears correct, and the correct result is displayed in the function argument box, however only the formula displays in the cell.
