Default Scatter Plot Chart with Category

I am trying to plot annual sales (horizontal axis) with item price (vertical
axis) and show different markers for customer category (legend). I was able
to do this in Excel 2003 by having each category as a separate column. My
columns are Name, Sales, Cat1, Cat2, Cat3, Cat4. The data in the category
columns for each row would show the item price only in the appropriate column
for that customer's category. The chart range uses only the sales and
category columns. I used a scatter plot chart. In Excel 2003, it worked
great! In Excel 2007, I can't get it to work at all. It will only chart the
last column and the last row of my data. How can I get this to work?

This did work. I could not recreate with my own data, though. It still only
plotted the last column and last row of data. I had my number formatting
correct, I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I plugged my data into
your sheet and it worked great. I did figure out that I can get the chart to
work if I "add" each data series into the chart individually. Thank you so
much for your help.
