MS Office Pro 2007
Hello. I just had to restore my computer. I use OS - XP It had MS Office
2003 installed on the computer originally and I upgraded to 2007(which i lost when I restored). I downloaded the free trial version of 2007 and then installed my upgrade CD (2007). The program is working but everytime I open an application i get the Configuration screen popping up and then it says please wait while the setup. Then the Configuring MS Office professional setup runs. If i cancel that out, i can use the applications every time. Is there something that did not install or what can I do to rectify it? |

A trial is not a qulaifying version for an upgrade version.
You need to uninstall all of Office including any activation assistant, then reboot, before installing your upgrade version, for which you will need the Office 2003 cd, assuming the new PC didnt come with Works preinstalled "netofpa" wrote in message news Hello.
