Default Maximize setting when opeing excel

When I open my Excel program my spreadsheet is always less than minimized. Very annoying as I always have to maximize before doing anything. I tried maximizing and saving the sheet and closing and reopening but it doesn't save it. Is there any settings and can change so it locks the maximize setting into place?

Thank you so much!

Dan

Default Maximize setting when opeing excel

Hi Rollingdan,

Close all browsers, Open a browser, maximize it, close it, then open a new
one. Should be maximized!

IF that doesn't work....

Open up Excel and maximize it. Then, while holding down the 'Ctrl' key on
the keyboard, click 'File' - 'Close' to close the window. Do not use the
"X" in the upper right.
Now, next time you open up Excel, if you choose to open a second window, it
will take the same size of the current Excel window. If this doesn't work,
try subtituting 'Shift' for 'Ctrl'.

Please let me know has this helped You...
Thank You...
Raghu...

Thanks Raghu. Maximizing the window and shutting it down and reopening it did the trick.

This is happening on my Internet Explorer browser now. When I click to open, only the top bar displays with no body. When I hit the maximize button on the top right, the body displays. If I click on the minimize button the body disappears but the top bar remains. Any thoughts on that one? Let's see if you can go 2 for 2!

Thanks once again.

Thanks Raghu. The problem was fixed when I opened and maximized the worksheet then I closed and reopened.

Now my Internet Explorer browser is doing something similar. When I click to open, the top bar only appears with no body. If I click on maximize on the top right, the body appears. If I click to minimize on top right, the body disappears again leaving the top bar as a display.

Any thoughts?

Dan

Hi Dan,

I am not too sure on the IE. I would request you to try to do the same
resolution that worked for Excel.

Thank You...
