Make the entire column wider.

I won't mention the other option which is to merge a couple of adjacent
cells.

I gave you two options.

Which one is "that"?

Wider..............drag the column header wider or FormatColumnAutofit
Selection

Merge cells...................select A1 and B1 and FormatCellsMerge

Or hit the Merge cells Icon on the formatting toolbar.
