file insert as link and file size
I thought inserting a file as a link, instead of embedding the entire
file, would save on the document's size, but this is not true. The document swells in size to add whatever the 2nd file inserted was. What is the benefit of inserting a file as a link? |

file insert as link and file size
Hi yepp,
The main benefit is that, if you change the source file, the target file will be updated without having to make the same chenges there. -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "yepp" wrote in message ...
