Can Works and Office coexist? Do I need to uninstall Works before I install
Office 2007?

I have Works 8.5 and the trial version of Office 2007 now, so I'm assuming
the answer is Works can stay, but just wanted to make sure there's nothing
peculiar between the trial version of Office and the full retail version that
would make a difference in this regard.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The seem to play together well. Frankly I don't see much reason to
keep Works if you have Office.

I have both on one of my systems. I kept Works because it has some templates
that are nice for home use.

I actually still have Works on my machine as I have not found any reason
to remove it and on a rare occasion I find it useful.

Yep. :-) I may not use it often but it's still nice to have.

You're going to find people who will disagree with Joseph and I. I'd suggest
leaving it installed and then see if you have any use for it. If not, you
can always uninstall it later.

Have a great weekend.
