Default Company Tree

Hi,

I am trying to create a company tree/org chart for a large group of
companies in which a number of entities are jointly owned i.e two companies
own 50% each of one company but I can't seem to get Visio to do this.

I have tried using the org chart wizard etc. but this only relates to
employees and I haven't been able to adapt it to suit my needs.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Chris

John,

Not sure I understand. When I try to put connectors between the the
subordinate company and its joint owners, Visio only allows me to join one of
the parent cos with the subsidiary i.e. it doesn't allow a split connector

How would you expect a shared company or employee appear? Visio has made an
attempt to handle employees reporting to multiple masters by adding a dashed
line.

Unfortunately, the current version of the wizard assumes the "one boss"
philosophy. They did add a dashed line that can be used to indicate an
alternate reporting path, but it is not part of the wizard and is sort of an
addition. It would be the same as using a magic marker on your screen to
draw in the extra reporting line.
