cannot add \ display appointments in outlook calendar
Sorry, my mistake
I use my PDA both on my desktop at home and at work. I have just upgraded to office 2003 and my peronal folders were created on Offfice 2000 (Emails, whichI can see). My work outlook is office 2000 and I have also tried to synchronise with this through my PDA. tasks and contacts no problem. But calendar does not display, neither does it display if I add directly. the only way i can see anything in calendar is if I use category view. Try running the Inbox Repair Tool against your .PST file to see if it finds
any errors. Search your drive for a file called scanpst.exe and run it. Allow the program to make a backup of your file before it makes any changes. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Brianw" wrote: Sorry, my mistake I use my PDA both on my desktop at home and at work. Tried that - found and repaired a couple of errors but calendar still does
not display appointments - I can see appointments old or newly added ones in category view only. I can copy these into a calendar within a seperate personal folder and these display. i cnnot synchronise my PDA with this "Jocelyn Fiorello [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: Try running the Inbox Repair Tool against your .PST file to see if it finds any errors. OK -- how about creating a new .PST file and making it your default,
then coping your calendar items to the new default calendar? I have this same problem. My original data was from a .pst file from an
older version of outlook but the current problem is recent. I mean, I have been using the calendar in OL 2003 but yesterday I started having this problem. Did I do some sort of setup comand by mistake? I really wish I could find software I never had spend my day researchind... Any advise? -- Putz "Jocelyn Fiorello [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: Are you using a .PST file from an older version of Outlook? I am assuming you read all of the messages in the thread between me and
Brianw and none of the suggestions I made to him helped you? If that's the case, you might want to repost your question in a new thread -- this one is very old and it's not likely that many people are reading it anymore. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Putzmiester" wrote: I have this same problem.
