All calendar info has disappeared in Outlook 2003
I had a power failure while running my XP Pro computer using OUtlook 2003.
When the computer restarted it told me my .pst file was corrupt and i had to repair the file, which is what i did. All my emails came back just fine, but all the info in my calendar has disappeared, which is a major crisis for me. The bizarre thing is, the program is still reminding me of appointments that i made as they come due, but i can't find the original info. Many thanks. Bill |

If you can see your mail, yuou should be able to see your calendar as well. Are you saying that when you open your Calendar folder, it's empty? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

All calendar info has disappeared in Outlook 2003
Hi Brian.
Yes, when i open the calendar, it has no information, not even the holidays. Given that the reminders appear, it's clear the information has been retained somewhere. I have tried every permutation possible on how to view the calendar. I can see old calendars available from the archive folder, but nothing current. |

Is the data store you think should be the default actually the default? If you start Outlook once with the /cleanviews command switch, does it make a difference? Calendar reminders can fire only from the default calendar. If you're seeing reminders for current events, then your default calendar must contain those events. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
