Default Text size problem

I have just found that when I attach a *.bmp it is appended below the
message. Although the size of the message text appears OK on screen when it
is printed from either the sent box or when it is received (I have sent to
myself) the text size is minute. I'm sure it should be changeable but I
have trawled through Tools/Option and I'm blowed if I can find a solution.
Please help!

Thanks.

Outlook Express uses the same print engine as Internet Explorer.

For print size: IE | View | Text Size | Make adjustment.

For margins: IE | File | Page Setup. (Default setting is 0.75 all around).

Thanks Bruce.

The size of the printed text varies. If the email does not in include an
attachment it is OK but it is miniscule if there is an attachment so,
unfortunately, this is not the answer.

Regards.

Are you using the Print icon?
Try File, Print, Preferences
Look to see if you have a setting that will scale to fit the paper.
You don't want that setting.

Bet you've just started using IE7 ???

This appears to be a bug in IE7 - a workaround is to go into OE6
ToolsOptionsRead & change to Read All Messages in plain text. But it is a
wretched nuisance having to keep doing this, according to what attachments
clients may send you.

When originally we tried to take this up with the Microsoft Help Desk in
India, we were staggered with their repsonse that they couldn't replicate the
problem "because we don't have IE7 on our central machine yet ..." & they
then suggested uninstalling IE7, etc, etc....meanwhile we got this workaround
from the moderator of the IE7 Community

Simply not good enough for a major new program from the mighty Microsoft, we
think.
