Default Adobe 8 Upgrades Problems with Word

I recently had Adobe Acrobat 8 installed. In addition to installing toolbar
objects on Outlook and Word without asking for permission, my Microsoft Word
now will only open in Safe Mode.

Has any one experienced this problem? How did you get Microsoft Word to
open in regular mode?

Thanks for your help!
Aloha,
Bob

Ensure you're using the latest updates for Adobe (up to 8.2.2 now). Also,
I've read that Office SP3 broke the Adobe functionality and reverting to SP2
will alow Word to open correctly. Unfortunately, the only solution that
worked for me was a complete uninstall/reinstall of Office. Using Detect and
Repair did nothing. You could try to disable the Adobe add-in in Word. If you
don't and never plan to use the convert to Word feature in Adobe, you could
unistall that option.

Good luck
