Analyzing Bank Statements with Pivot Tables
I would like to perform analysis of a several years of bank statements. I
wish to be able to identify the main source of deposits and the main recipient of funds plus identify any trends that exist when monies come in as to who it then is sent to. I tried creating a pivot table but it only counts the number of credits and debits whereas I would like that plus be able to see dollar amounts. The trend thing really has me stumped. I don't think that is possible |

Analyzing Bank Statements with Pivot Tables
Change the function from Count to Sum. Right-Click on the column of numbers,
and it will give you an option to change. The specific instructions will depend on what version of Excel you are using. Regards, Fred.
